WMV Training Day

WMV is thrilled to invite women’s ministry leaders to our first ever Women’s Ministry Training Day. This day is designed to support and encourage women who are already involved in leading or organising women’s ministries, or to inspire and equip women who have their pastor’s support to start a women’s ministry in their local church.

The day will include a talk from our Women’s Ministries Facilitator on Why Word Filled Women’s Ministry Matters. We will then break into two strand groups: those starting out in Women’s Ministry will meet with Joy Arundell to explore Where to Start. For churches who already have an established women’s ministry program, Jan Martin will work through How to Persevere. The day will conclude with a Q & A session with a panel of women who have been involved in various women’s ministries.

We encourage churches to nominate (and where possible to fund) a small group of women from your church to be involved in this event. We trust it will be encouraging, inspiring, and full of practical wisdom to help women in your church to keep focusing on Jesus, and encouraging other women in the faith.

Before you register, we do ask that you have the support of your Session to attend. If you haven’t been invited by them, then please have a discussion with them before registering.
