WMV is thrilled to invite women’s ministry leaders to our second annual Women’s Ministry Training Day. This day is designed to support and encourage women who are already involved in leading or organising women’s ministries, or to inspire and equip women who have their pastor’s support to start a women’s ministry in their local church.

The day will include a keynote talk by Helen Bell from John 21 on “Failure, Comparisons and Following Jesus”. We will then break into two elective groups: Serving without Burning Out with Jan Martin, or Grounded in the Word with Kathryn Gatt. There will be time for church groups to spend time reflecting and planning together, and then the day will conclude with a Q & A session with a panel of women who have been involved in various women’s ministries.

We encourage churches to nominate (and where possible to fund) a small group of women from your church to be involved in this event. We trust it will be encouraging, inspiring, and full of practical wisdom to help women in your church to keep focusing on Jesus, and encouraging other women in the faith.

Before you register, we do ask that you have the support of your Session to attend. If you haven’t been invited by them, then please have a discussion with them before registering.
