In 2026 WMV is hosting a Ministry Mini-Series on Preparing A Bible Talk. This will take place online, on Wednesday evenings, during July and August for a six-week-long series.

Heather Reid will teach women how to identify the big idea in a passage of Scripture, and how to communicate this effectively and engagingly. During the series women will have the opportunity to prepare, deliver and receive feedback on a short devotional talk. They will also be given skills to prepare a longer form talk.

We encourage women who attend to have a go at giving their talk at a women's event at their church following the series. You might even like to join with a group of women from your church, and finish the series by all sharing your talks with one another.

We recommend that you join this series live if possible, and with a group of other women, as this will allow you to get the most out of the sessions, through discussions and feedback. However, we want to provide opportunities for anyone interested to join, so we have on-demand and individual registrations available as well if needed.
